It’s a MEGA $930,000 jackpot haul for Jamel and Christopher with Mega 6 and The Barbados Lottery
Bridgetown, Barbados – February 08, 2022: It’s a MEGA win of a lifetime for Jamel Depeiza and Christopher Campbell as the first Mega 6 Jackpot winners for 2022. Both of the lucky players hit the top Mega 6 Jackpot prize of $930,000 to claim their prizes of $465,000 each from The Barbados Lottery.
The winning numbers: 8, 9, 19, 21, 25 and 29 were selected for the Mega 6 Draw #4871, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, with the lucky winners now listed among the top tier winners of The Barbados Lottery’s Mega 6 game.
Depeiza purchased his winning Mega 6 ticket from The Barbados Lottery Retail Agent, Mike’s Minimart, Christ Church, and Campbell from The Barbados Lottery Retail Agent at the Esso Service Station in Worthing, Christ Church.
As a first-time winner, an overwhelmed yet happy Jamel Depeiza expressed that he feels “great” about hitting the jackpot. Always the caring son, he plans on assisting his mother and family adding, “I will get to finish the things that I had to put on hold; like house repairs.”
Campbell, who previously won $500 with Mega 6, is in a jubilant mood with this first big win.
“I feel good…excited,” said Campbell. He disclosed that his earnings will be used to take care of some important things such as paying down his mortgage, his daughter’s education, and increase his savings.
When asked how she felt about selling one of the winning Mega 6 Jackpot tickets, Ms. Shirley Best, Assistant to the owner of Mike’s Minimart noted: “We are happy to have this jackpot win it is the second for us, the first at our previous location at Pilgrim Road.”
Esso Service Station representative, Ms. Sandy Seereram enthused: “This is the first time Esso Worthing has had a jackpot win and we applaud Mr. Campbell as a consistent customer. We are pleased to work with The Barbados Lottery in promoting and selling their exciting products.”
